H∞ Control of Differential Linear Repetitive Processes

چکیده
Repetitive processes are a distinct class of twodimensional systems (i.e. information propagation in two independent directions) of both systems theoretic and applications interest. They cannot be controlled by direct extension of existing techniques from either standard (termed 1D here) or two-dimensional (2D) systems theory. Here we give new results on the relatively open problem of the design of physically based control laws using an H∞ setting. These results are for the sub-class of so-called differential linear repetitive processes which arise in applications areas such as iterative learning control.

Robust H∞ filtering for uncertain differential linear repetitive processes via LMIs and polynomial matrices
This paper is concerned with the full-order H∞ filtering problem for uncertain differential linear repetitive processes (LRPs). uncertain differential linear repetitive process (LRP) assumed to be stable along the pass, our attention is focused on the design of a full-order filter, which guarantees the filtering error process to be stable along the pass, and minimizes an upper bound for theH∞ n...
متن کاملStabilization of differential linear repetitive processes saturated systems by state feedback control
The stabilization of linear differential linear repetitive processes subject to saturating controls is addressed. Sufficient conditions obtained via a linear matrix inequality (LMI) formulation are stated to guarantee both the local stabilization and the satisfaction of some performance requirements. The method of synthesis consists in determining simultaneously a state feedback control law and...

متن کاملStability and Control of Differential Linear Repetitive Processes Using an LMI Setting
This paper considers differential linear repetitive processes which are a distinct class of two-dimensional continuous-discrete linear systems of both physical and systems theoretic interest. The substantial new results are on the application of linear-matrix-inequality-based tools to stability analysis and controller design for these processes, where the class of control laws used has a well d...
متن کاملMatlab–Based Toolbox for Analysing Differential Linear Repetitive Processes
A short overview of a Matlab–based toolbox developed to support the control-related analysis of a subclass of nD systems called differential linear repetitive processes (LRP) is the subject of this paper. Its main functionality covers two different areas. First the toolbox allows one to build discrete approximations of continuous–time LRPs and then perform analysis/simulation verification studi...
